One of the best ways to learn is to ask questions.

A good reason for finding a tutor is to have someone who will answer your linguistic questions. A good tutor will be able to inform you on your grammatical and cultural queries and will be willing and capable of researching, if needs be, and giving a satisfactory answer.

Therefore, a student should never be reluctant to ask as many questions as he desires about the pronunciation of a certain word, the change in meaning of a sentence because of an alteration in syntax or the historical context to a saying or proverb.

Remember, asking many questions is not a means of harassing a tutor but of progressing in knowledge of the language one is learning.
